preliminary registration im mediately cagers invade fredonia play host to toronto starting line-up uncertain as squad increases facing a heavy week-end the it.l t . b cagers striving for theii second victory of the season play two games in as many days swing ing into action tonight by invad ing fredonia and then returning to clark memorial gymnasium to play host to the toronto blues tomorrow evening there is a possibility that the lineup will be revamped due to an enlargement of the squad the fredonia tus sle seems to indicate a blue and white win but cautions coach rob harrington only on paper this assertion is made in view of the fact that u.b defeated mcmasters university whereas mcmasters had beaten fredonia needless to say the toronto buffalo fray will sparkle with the desire for revenge on the bulls part since they suffered defeat at the hands of the blues in an earlier game concerning the outcome of this battle coach harrington was noncommittal but is willing to state that the score this time will be much different from the first a peek into the buffalo prac tice sessions will reveal man new faces the squad having been augmented by six medical-dental students these boys are doing graduate work and so says coach harrington should be commended for coming out for the team they had been playing in the ymca loop until it was dis banded the squad now numbers seventeen players whereas only a few weeks ago they had dwin dled to nine with the influx of new cagers the competition among the squad itself is heightening the strug gle is now on for positions all of which have been declared open to those most capable of filling them christmas vacation seemed to have little effect on the condition of the team marked improve ment has been shown in both the offensive and defensive play since the opening of the season the zone defense will continue to be used inasmuch as it is too late in the season to make any radical changes in tactics all indications point to the fact that the cagers are in good shape and able to present a formidable foe to any of their opponents why not attend the game to morrow night and give the fel lows some real indication that you're behind them afternoon new time for a ph a meeting for january the student branch of a ph a has decided to moet in the afternoon because this time is probably more convenient for the students who are
