crusade the climax of the football season is reached this saturday when the varsity makes its exodus to geneva to meet the strong hobart team two games stand out in the u b schedule each year the rochester and the hobart conflicts one of these is passed the rochester game with a scoreless tie the other is coming his saturday and regardless of how the rest of the games go a victory this week will make a successful sea son for the past seven years buffalo has been defeated each season by ho bart although in the last two sea sons only by one touchdown this is iluffalo's year we're long past due and we want victory as never before hobart has had a good schedule this year in their first game they went out of their class and were beaten 34 — 0 by syracuse in the next game they lost to dartmouth 32 — 0 this was no disgrace when it is remembered that dartmouth beat cornell last week 62 — 13 in other words dartmouth scored nearly twice as many points against cornell as they did against hobart hobart beat alfred 36—0 clarkson 7—0 and union 22—12 they have lost only to st lawrence 6 — 0 in teams of their class buffalo has played only two teams on hobart's schedule by which some comparison can be made buffalo de feated alfred 6—0 while hobart drubbed them 36—0 clarkson lost to buffalo 10—0 and to hobart 7—0 like all dope this may mean little or nothing but there it stands with a slight edge for ho bart buffalo will enter the game without the services of capt metz whose old shoulder injury which has bothered him all season has finally put him out of the game george has played a bear of a game all season and he will be sorely missed saturday students of science organize club to further interest feeling the need of a science club at the university of
