grimstead chancellor claude e puffer has proclaimed grimstead day because he saw the need for hugo's recognition from residence halls students the university at large and the nation mr grimstead once had a dream in which he visualized a huge gleaming work of art hugo then spent hundreds of dollars for ar chitecture artists and metal work ers to have his dream come to real ity for all the world to see when the work was completed and it was shown to the world the people called it grimstead's dream all the world marveled at its gleaming base and artistic lines but one thing was missing from grimstead's dream finally a rich lord second cousin to hugo had a huge sparkling crown made to fit on the top of grimstead's dream at last it was complete mr grimstead realized that his masterpiece must be put to some good use when he heard that ub was honoring him mr grimstead decided to donate his dream as a trophy to be awarded on grimstead day to the residence hall which excelled in the activities on grimstead day last year schoellkopf hall was the winner of the beautiful trophy that hugo grimstead so generously gave this year mr grimstead will be on hand to award the trophy per
