senatorial district now that roger black well is out of the state senate race what about senator anthony masi ello's poor performance as a state senator if he ran on his record the people would see that he is no better or worse than he claimed blackwell was if the people of the 58th district would just open their eyes and ears and look around them they could see that they are living in a disaster area the years that senator masiello has been in office as far as the district is concerned was a waste he never comes around the area to see what needs to be done to help upgrade the people's quality of like during all of the bad blizzards he never toured the district to find out what help and relief could be offered at the state level a recent survey by william o hare of wash ington joint center for political studies reported that blacks in buffalo have the worse economic condi tion in the nation the news articles for the past few weeks read blacks meager share study indicates blacks fare worse in buffalo etc you can't blame every thing on the decline of industry in this area or discrimination you must blame politicians like masiello who are not doing their lob mr masiello also should have been spear heading the nfta de ficiency probe the drug abuse and child abuse problems instead of criticizing others he should take a hard look at his own short comings and start building economic bridges the 58th senate district is sorely in need of someone who can and will properly represent it those problems will not go away they have to be addressed and dealt with in a solvable manner it must be remembered that when one section is affected by depression it affects the entire city mr masiello's actions in the 58th district are the same as they were when he accepted an invitation to a forum and debate sponsored by the western region women's political action committee he accepted the invitation then didn't show up he didn't even explain why he is all talk and no
