Dispatch Publisher Named Builders' Man Of The Year THE NIAGARA County Builders Association named A. Skip Mazenauer Man Of The Year at its annual dinner/dance and awards ceremony Jan. 27. Meeting at the Ramada Niagara, more than 150 members and their friends gathered for a prime rib dinner and dance complete with magic by Rob and Carol Allen to install officers and honor Skip Mazenauer, owner of Niagara Frontier Publications and coowner of Cedar Homes Ltd. Western New York distributorship. Wheatfield Supervisor Terry Kuehn was charged with the installation ceremonies. Mazenauer, presently serving his second term as secretary of the Builders Association, was also recognized for his efforts in promoting the group. Well known and active in a number of communities, his newspapers, two Penny Savers (Grand Island and Niagara) and two community newspapers (The Dispatch and The Sentinel) serve northern Erie and Niagara Counties. Civicminded, he is past president and member of the Grand Island Rotary, serving in a variety of local and district capacities. A director and past president of the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce, he is also a past president and member of the Buffalo/Niagara Sales & Marketing Executives. As co-distributor of Cedar Homes Ltd. and a director of the Grand Island Builders Association, he is responsible for introducing Lindal Cedar Homes to Western New York by building a show home in conjunction with a Grand Island Home Show in the East Riverside Woods area of Grand Island (127 Timberlink). School Board Begins Budget Process THE SCHOOL board began its 1990-91 budget process with a review of the transportation, buildings and grounds and BOCES budgets Monday night during its regular business meeting. Presentations were made by Jack Burns, director of transportation; Dorm Perry, director of buildings and grounds, and Superintendent Lee Cravotta and Business Manager Larry Schaller, BOCES.
