Residents Speak Out At Public Hearings ACCORDING TO town law. bearings must be held to obtain public opinion in many instances before official action is taken. Three hearings Monday involving a proposed drainage program, rezoning and a sewer improvement program provided such input. As a result, the board adopted a $30,000 drainage improvement plan in the Edgewater area, tabled installing 11,000 feet of sewer line on East River Road south of Stony Point Road and referred to the planning board a request for rezoning 1869 Whitehaven Road.
