The Residence Hall Association is currently reviewing Everett's suggestions. "Every year we have to re-assess the system to make sure it is meeting the needs of the students," Everett said. "I think that we meet their needs pretty well, if the shuttles are maintained properly. The Racial Incidents team of Students that attended include those with invitations, others with concerns with the rise of discrimination on campus and faculty and administration. We have a growing student-body and the shuttle system should be able to accommodate all of our students." After going over the issue with great detail, SFLC discussed the problem with associate director of Residence Life A1 Pilato and director of Public Safety Gary Everett. Forum held on sexual assualts By Danielle Haynes Editor in Chief Friday, November 22. 2002 GRIFFIN ARCHIVES Recent reported sexual assualts took place in oncampus housing. As part of a solution, students suggested that undergrads be informed through e-mail as well as educational programming. Anderson says that the reason such an e-mail was never sent to the undergrads is because he felt it would be adequately publicized in the Nov. 1 issue of The Griffin. Anderson was not informed of The Griffin's intention to publish an article regarding the sexual Everett sent an e-mail on Oct. 29 regarding a robbery at Dagwood's which occurred on Oct 27, the same day a sexual offense was reported. This sexual offense was not made public to the student body via e-mail. Stephanie Kortan, senior, suggested that a mass e-mail be sent to the entire college community to warn of reports of sexual misconduct. Under the Clery Act, it is required that school administrators notify the student body of any such occurance within a reasonable amount of time.
