.Again the GritHns distinguished t.hemselvcj. Orsce more they went over the top — and brought back a scalp. This time the scalp heljf>ed many ol the Buflalo needy. This year the annua! Chr^tmas Drive went over vvith the proverbial "bang.'" Due to the eftorts of Father Kennedy as men¬ tor 01 the Sodality and through the work and leadership of the Sodality, essxrcially the St. Vincent de Paul men. the reriults were obtained. Clothes and money were collected and the well-known "needy fund" was swelled to a laudable size.
The cash drive this year was con¬ ducted by the members of the sodah ity and othcers of the respective classes. Here credit is due for the very "stick-to~it-iveno>c!." shown by thvtse men vvho haunted the footsteps oi i>otential givers. The very excel¬ lent sv-stem of using the mite-boxes wa;s put into pby to collect the funds. ITie sv^stem was very methodical and was executed with the greatest pre¬ cision.. If vvas.expected by the fore¬ men ot the drive to receive at least fifteen cents from each man and as results show, the vast majority com¬ plied in a verv* generous fashion.

The senior class is solidly behind the project, as was evidenced by the splendid spirit of co-operation which nurked their recent card party and dance.
