The First Annual Junior Prom will be staged in the Hotel Statler ballroom on Friday evening, Febru¬ ary 21sr, with Harold Stem and his Orchestra of fourteen m.elody makers furnishing the rhythms for darKi'ng ieti. The orchestra selected has played at many nationally famous hotels and dance rendezvous, irKlud- ing Hotel Ste. Moritz, Central Park Casino, and Casino de Paree and at present is entertaining the clientele at the Salon Madrid in New York. This popular orchestra is also fea¬ tured on the Pompeian Face Powder Program, which is presented every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday over the NBC net^vork.

The Strohaver ScierKe Club held a business meeting on Wednesday evening, January 22. In the absence of President W'atkins, Mr. William Wahl presided at the meeting. It was announced that the science club activi¬ ties for 1936 have been planned. Ao.'ording to this program, there v^-ill be no more regular business meetings in the coming semester, but instead, all attention will be devoted to trips to various industrial centers.
It is e.xpected that the club vvill
make three more trips before the close
of the school year. .Moreover, since
the dinner vvhich the club held on
January 11 at Lorenzo's restaurant
met with the unanimous approval of
the members, the executive committee
has decided to hold two more of these
dinners. The first vvill take place on
Saturday evening, March 14. Mr.
Fdward Stack has been appointed
chairman of this dinner, vvhich will
be very much the same as the last one.
llien, on May 2, the Strohaverians
vvill hold their first annual banquet,
under the chairmanship of Michael
I DuBenitz.
