To I sodalists throughout the country [ Father Lord needs no introduction— ; particularly in Western New York. j He is a national figure whose every | word is heard with respect for his ! wide knowledge of sodality affairs I and whose intrepid labors in behalf of the Student Spiritual Leadership ; Movement has endeared him as a | father in God to the Catholic vouth ! or America.
It will therefore be with the keen- | est interest that our youth of Buffalo j and vicinity wiil hear Father Lord's | views on such vital topics as "The | Moral Menace of Hollywood" and "The Sodality Movement to Date".
The Convention is also favored in | the presence as a principal speaker of Miss Dorothy Willmann. National Executive Secretary of Women's Parish Sodalities. Miss Wtllmann's wide experience as a sodality adviser and one in close touch with all prob¬ lems of sodalitv work, as well as her

Geary, on "The Com¬ ing Catholic Charities Appeal" will be oi especial value to the parish so¬ dality units. The greatest strength of the Charities Appeal consists of the measure of personal effort put into it by the parish workers, among whom parish sodality members must nuke thentselves conspicuous in aid¬ ing and abetting the direction given them by their pastors. Father Geary's talk will be of uncommon value in helping parish sodalists to prove their mettle.
Another feature of parish Catholic Action which depends to a large ex¬ tent on the real of parish sodalists is (Continued on page three)
