police were being stationed mayor ellison police went around and arrested them all they stripped them of their badges and dis armed them three of the cahoon fore who were not caught took refuge in tht atationhonae at nx>n the second polict station surrendered to ellison's police early this morning the united states marshal served a notice on mayor ellison the thief of polios and city council that cahoon wuuld move before judge under wood of the united states court on wednesday next for an injunction to re strain them from acting mayor cahoon b«ud a oourt this morning as also did mayor ellison taere has been no disturbanoe to-day cannon's force re duced to about thirty men is ahut up in the atatiop house and ellison's force num bering about 250 have possession of the city a washington dispatch says " it is un derstood here that judge underwood who is at alexandria va ye*terd*y granted a writ of injunction restraining ellison and others from exercising the functions of mu nicipal
