committe on the funding bill liave agreed to provide for the issue of one thousand millions of thirty year bonds at 4 per cent ; three hundred millions of fifteen year bonds at 4j per cent ; and two hundred millions of ten year bonds at 5 per cent the sec tion allowing gold deposits in tho treasury limits interest to 2 per cent all national banks hereafter organized aro required to take new bonds the other main points agreed upon are as follows clause authorising foreign agencies stricken oat all interest is to be paid in the united states new banks are to accept these bonds as a basia for banking but old banks are not compelled to exchange their bonds the interest to be paid on gold de posits is fixed at 2 per cent instead of 3 at in the house bill and '. per cent is to be paid for
