John W. Uber of said county being duly sworn says that he has as he verily believes a good cause of action against John Doe, Richard Roe, James Jackson, and John Jones persons whose real names are unknown to deponent but who were navigating the canal boat D.T. Stafford, for injuries done to deponents personal property by running said Boat D.T. Stafford into deponents boat, and further says the said John Doe, Richard Roe, James Jackson, and John Jones are not residents of the said county of Saratoga as he verily believes.
