Description	Photocopy of a black-and-white drawing mapping the various structures of the Rexford Park amusement park, Rexford, NY, in operation 1906-1935, and a map key. The map is reproduced as Figure 69 in 'The Amusement Park at Rexford' by George A. Farrell. Farrell describes its creation: 'The park at Rexford was constantly changing both from year to year and sometimes even during a given season. Photographs from Francis Spoonogle's collection of the park were taken over the course of park history. Re-constructing the park from those images cannot, therefore, be a 'snapshot' for any given time but rather must be a time 'composite' image [...] Several years ago, a noontime meeting was organized at the GE Research and Development Center in Niskayuna. Those attending were John Papp, Francis Spoonogle, and Gorden Turner, the latter, a legal draftsman at the Center. The objective of that meeting was to examine all the available photographs of the park and to create a composite map that showed the location of the significant rides, booths, that is, 'attractions' of the park over its history' (p. 81).

Notes	The Luna Park amusement park opened in Rexford, NY in 1906. It was known at various times as Dolle's Park, The Colonnade, and Rexford Park. The park ceased operations by the mid 1930s and was dismantled in 1935.
