January 18th DDGM Bert Cooke and his staff made their official visit and installed our newly elected officers.
Brother Cooke sure did a swell job, and his staff was excellent, any Odd Fellow who has not seen the Dist. Deputy work should avail himself of the opportunity and see the installation of some lodge in the district.
After the installation lunch was served and I think all brothers went home satisfied that it was a night well spent at Bellevue Lodge.
Feb. 1st Bellevue Lodge will be the host to the lodges at their Euchre Party.

Sorry to report that many of our members are on the sick list, whose names are listed on page 4 of this issue.
An enjoyable evening was spent at Empress Lodge, St. Catherines, Ont. See Henry Lehman about special event that happened.
Arnold Roth�s address for the winter is 819 N. Mills St., Orlando, Fla.
Peter and Edith by now are getting used to the �Wide Open Spaces� at Port Lavoca, Texas.
Mrs. Florence Tidd is at home once again. Congratulations to Mrs. Frances Tidd Wright to whom a son was born Jan. 5, 1950.
Wm. Potter, our 1st NG., who is a resident of the IOOF Home, is 85 years young Feb. 6, 1950.
Ruth Ginther spent the holiday season in Ames, Iowa, the guest of her daughter, Mrs. W.E. Hauth, Jr., Dr. Hauth and family.
Dr. Hauth is the son of Mrs. Hilda Hauth, a member of Dorothy Bell Rebekah Lodge No. 462 and a grandson of Mrs. Wilhelmia Swan, a charter member of Riverdale Rebekah Lodge No. 195. Sister Ginther is looking fine after her long trip.
A bird just whispered in my ear that Feb. 13, is Mr. and Mrs. John Klouse�s Wedding Day - Oh! I mean the one that took place 50 years ago.
Bro. and Sister Klouse - Rosebud Rebekah Lodge, congratulates you on 50 years of wedded bliss!

Bell Rose Lodge members will renew acquaintances after Jan. 31st with its members who are on the Staff of DDGM W.B. Cooke. Installation of Gasport Lodge kept Bert and the boys from Jan. 9th meeting, business was conducted as usual by NG Donley and VG Bridgeman.
Home Coming Night, Jan. 23 was one of enjoyment, the lodge and DDGM Cooke welcomed DDGM Walter Rumble and Staff of Orleans Dist, who officiated at the installation of officers at Bell Rose. The entertainment and luncheon, handled by Sister Rebekahs, wives of the staff members and officers, was a fitting climax to a wonderful evening.
In February � Second degree team goes to Lockport Wed., Feb 1st to confer degree for Cataract No. 54. Bowling team will be in there punching, every Wednesday evening.
Regular meeting Feb. 13th. Euchre Tournament and Visitation Group will visit us that evening. If you are an Odd Fellow we expect to see you Feb. 13th.
Regular meeting Feb. 27th�there may be degree work-if you belong to the lodge, you belong at meetings, and we should like to see you. How about it?

The Dorothy Bell Friendship Club meets at Naomi Walker�s 323 � 74th St., Feb. 6th. We welcome our new members.

Our 1st degree team will go to St. Catherines, Ont., and confer the degree of Friendship on a class of candidates for Empire Lodge No. 87, Feb. 2nd.
Our bowling team captain P.G. Harvey R. Mack wants rooters at these games-Oliver and miller Sts. No. Tonawanda, every Wednesday night.
IOOF Blood Bank committee from No. 81 are PG Rae M. Irish and PG Earl Price.
Our 1st degree team has an invitation to confer the degree in Pittsburgh, Pa., in Oct. Many of our members will remember with pleasure our visit there several years ago.
NG Wm. Skivington wishes to thank Bros. Edwin Jennings and NG Harry Seeley of No. 316 for the use of their cars at Bro. Greene Boyd�s funeral.

Feb. 10th regular meeting at 7:30 P.M. Card Party to follow � price 35c. Table and door prizes. Progressive euchre and individual table games.
Feb. 24th regular meeting and Brother�s Night, as usual a good entertainment will be enjoyed.
Nov. 30th an initiation was held in honor of the 100th anniversary. 11 candidates were initiated. Degree was also conferred in Jan. on 4 candidates.
The degree will be held in March. Members! Do you have applications to bring in?
Theta Rho�s Girls� Club No. 31 will hold their installation Feb. 2nd. � Let�s attend.
Jan. 14th we attended the institution of a new Theta Rho Girls� club in Buffalo. There were 35 members initiated.
Assembly President Freeda K. Haywood and Theta Rho drill team from Mt. Morris were also present.
Two more Theta Rho Clubs will be instituted in Buffalo soon. Watch for dates and plan to go.
