Transcript	Grosse Ile (Michigan) Jan. 10th, '61 Dear Lottie: Your letter came to hand the day before New Years (the one enclosing the neck ties I mean) and the second came a few days after. I am much obliged for them (the neck ties and the letter, if you have any doubt which I mean.) My Christmas & New Years present to you (as I told Annie) and to all will have to be Wish you Merri Christmas & a happy New Year. I am glad you were enjoying yourselves for I like to think you all happy and not feeling sad & lowspirited
