| Description |
Charter in which Walter de Agnell records that he is conveying to Renardus de Villa Tierri , justicar of Bayeux, lands which he holds from Ardenne Abbey but admitting that he has lost the original lease from the canons . The Premonstratensian Abbey of Ardenne inherited its rule from St. Agustine . The document is written on the flesh side of the parchment and folded at the bottom . The appropriate horizontal slit is present , but the seal and attachment are missing . Side 2 of the document includes Walter de Agnell's name in large lettering and Renardus de Villa Tierri's name is on the bottom fold. |
