The Oriskany Museum houses memorabilia from the USS Oriskany, dioramas telling the story of the Battle of Oriskany, and a large section containing memorabilia and artifacts from the Village of Oriskany and its inhabitants. The museum, completed in 1997, has an extensive collection of artifacts, photos, and documents and a growing local history book collection.
Waterbury Mill Collection
Oriskany has been home to the Waterbury Mill since 1869; a mill which manufactures felts specifically for papermaking. This collection includes business correspondence, price sheets, reports, pictures of the mill processes & tools, and photos of the family that once owned the business – the Waterburys.
