Dear Mrs. Hamalainen
Referring to my telegram of Saturday, we would be
glad to hear from you as to just exactly what the co-
lection consist of.
I am taking it for granted that you are selling
the original negatives from which the prints were made,
and as your father’s work was done some years ago, I
assume that most of them are on glass rather than on
film. In the event that you wish to sell this collec-
tion to us, please let me know just how much bulk there
is so that I may arrange for its proper transportation.
It may be that we may have to send an expert to
pack and assemble it. Consequently, I would greatly
appreciate any definite information - approximately how
much does it weigh, how bulky is it, and how big a truck
would be necessary to carry it.
I would be glad to hear from you as soon a possible.
