This photo depicts the style of construction of an early bridge on Clinton St. near the park. The metal framework, wooden walk way, and railing were all typical for the time. It is also interesting to note that locals, such as George Ferris and Carl Kimberly used to bury indian head pennies right next to the tree in the picture up until 1949.
