Supreme Court of the United States Washington, D.C. Chambers of Robert H. Jackson May 7, 1951; Dean Andrew V. Clements, Union University, Albany Law School, New Scotland Avenue. Albany, New York.; My dear Dean Clements: I hope to be able to reach Albany on Thursday night, probably rather late, and be on hand for the day of June 1st. But I will have to return on that day, because the Court conference, which may be held on Saturday, June 2d. As I remember the time schedules, this will make it impossible for me to remain for Friday evening. Under the circumstances, Mrs. Jackson will not accompany me. There are, of course possibilities of shifts in the schedule, for in the closing days of the term we never can tell what will come up and all plans have to be somewhat tentative. This is the way it looks at the present moment, however. I greatly appreciate your kindness in the matter and with best wishes, I am Sincerely yours, Robert H. Jackson
