Description	Document issued by the University of the State of New York of the State Education Department, Albany, NY, declaring an emergency need for the assistance of students in the Clifton Park District No. 9 school in the harvesting of local crops. The document authorizes the release of school children for harvest work. The document specifies the work to be done: 'potatoes, vegetable crops, corn for grain and silage, fruit- apples' and the date when students were needed: Sept. 1 to Nov. 1, 1943. It was signed by Henry H. Robens, Chairman of the Agricultural War Committee on August 14, 1943 in Stillwater, NY.
