Description	A new congregation of Methodists was organized in West Utica in 1867. A chapel was built on the corner of Court and Stark streets. In 1886 the name "Dryer Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church" was adopted. This building was abandoned in 1917 when the society moved to the old Court street school on the corner of Court and Lenox Avenue.
